Big Blue River Near Seward affecting Seward County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Blue River near Seward. * WHEN...From late Wednesday night to late Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, State Highway 34 may flood. In addition the Fairgrounds is flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 1.7 feet...or 16.3 feet below flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Thursday morning to a crest of 20.3 feet early Thursday afternoon.
