The coldest air of the season has poured into Nebraska, Iowa, and much of the central United States. Monday morning's low temperatures were in the teens and colder than any numbers recorded since late February.
The cold air won't last. Much warmer air builds into the area on Tuesday and the mild weather is expected to linger through the work week with high temps approaching 70°F by Friday.
